Harrison Chen / Haox โ a game developer based in Taipei, Taiwan.
Iโve spent 7+ years at Akatsuki Taiwan building games with Silver Lining Studio โ shipping titles like Behind the Frame and The Star Named EOS โ and more recently going full-stack: architecting Go backend services and LLM-powered tools as a solo engineer.
I love games, I make games, and when Iโm not doing either, Iโm probably at a concert.

What I Do
- Game Development โ Unity (7+ years): gameplay, character animation (Playables / Spine), shaders & rendering, audio, input systems. Shipped on Steam, iOS/Android, Switch, and PS4/PS5.
- Backend โ Go & Python: high-throughput transactional services, FastAPI microservices โ owning architecture, security, and deployment end to end as sole engineer.
- AI / LLM โ LangChain multi-agent orchestration; built an internal enterprise knowledge assistant solo, from prototype to release.
- DevOps โ GitHub Actions CI/CD: fully automated Unity builds with Steam deployment, Docker, GCP.

Built the core painting gameplay, character animation pipeline, audio, and input systems. Shipped on iOS, Android, Steam, Switch, and PS4/PS5.
The Star Named EOS
Built the core photography gameplay โ including a custom photo-composition detection engine โ plus UI, audio, and input systems.
Alice World
From Storia. Deeply involved as a game programmer โ built UI/UX features and a variety of minigames across the title.
Fururu Project: Ruby
A student work developed in college. As lead game programmer, handled all aspects of game development until release.
Hobbies
๐ค Concerts โ Mostly J-pop these days. Currently on repeat: Aooo, and the KAMITSUBAKI virtual singers KAF (่ฑ่ญ) and RIM (็่ฝ). If a tour stops anywhere near Taipei, Iโm probably there.
