Iโ€™ve spent 7+ years at Akatsuki Taiwan building games with Silver Lining Studio โ€” shipping titles like Behind the Frame and The Star Named EOS โ€” and more recently going full-stack: architecting Go backend services and LLM-powered tools as a solo engineer.

I love games, I make games, and when Iโ€™m not doing either, Iโ€™m probably at a concert.

What I Do

  • Game Development โ€” Unity (7+ years): gameplay, character animation (Playables / Spine), shaders & rendering, audio, input systems. Shipped on Steam, iOS/Android, Switch, and PS4/PS5.
  • Backend โ€” Go & Python: high-throughput transactional services, FastAPI microservices โ€” owning architecture, security, and deployment end to end as sole engineer.
  • AI / LLM โ€” LangChain multi-agent orchestration; built an internal enterprise knowledge assistant solo, from prototype to release.
  • DevOps โ€” GitHub Actions CI/CD: fully automated Unity builds with Steam deployment, Docker, GCP.

Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery

Built the core painting gameplay, character animation pipeline, audio, and input systems. Shipped on iOS, Android, Steam, Switch, and PS4/PS5.

The Star Named EOS

Built the core photography gameplay โ€” including a custom photo-composition detection engine โ€” plus UI, audio, and input systems.

From Storia. Deeply involved as a game programmer โ€” built UI/UX features and a variety of minigames across the title.

A student work developed in college. As lead game programmer, handled all aspects of game development until release.


Hobbies

๐ŸŽค Concerts โ€” Mostly J-pop these days. Currently on repeat: Aooo, and the KAMITSUBAKI virtual singers KAF (่Šฑ่ญœ) and RIM (็†่Šฝ). If a tour stops anywhere near Taipei, Iโ€™m probably there.
